Preface All praises are due to Allah who said that: Why a small group of the whole nation does not go out to attain knowledge of religion and warn their nation when they go back to them so that they might warn, and prayers and peace be upon the best of Prophets and Messengers our Prophet Muhammad bin Abdullah (Peace Be Upon Him) and his family, companions and followers, and also those who are abide by His advices according to the Book of Allah. \"The perfume is known by its scent not by the saying of performer\". There is no doubt that the existence of religion depends on the existence of its knowledge. Our religion is but the religion of knowledge and wisdom. For this reason our scholars have devoted themselves in preaching Islamic knowledge and education throughout the centuries. Jamia Qurania Arabia (Arabic University) Lalbagh, Dhaka, Bangladesh is an excellent result of the endeavors of a group of devoted scholars of \"Ahlussunnat Wal Jam’at\" following the light of the way of our great predecessors \"Al-Salf Al-Saleh\". The Jamia was established to educate and render best of the services to the Muslims. This complete non-government Islamic institution comes as a blessings for those who were denined the right of survival. It has been successful to draw the attention of the Muslim scholars throughout the world. This Jamia has already created aspirations among the people and virtually won the hearts of the seekers of Islamic knowledge who were saved from the jaws of death which was posed for want of shelter. It is an Islamic institution with a difference where the boys need not worry for their education. The opinions of the scholars about the Jamia during their visit will prove the fact. This Jamia has occupied a glorious position in the field of Islamic education by the experienced teaching staff. For this reason a great number of seekers of knowledge of Prophet (SM) come from all parts of Bangladesh to get themselves admitted in this Jamia. But the Jamia cannot admit them all due to lack of accommodation facilities and necessary fund. The Jamia, therefore, wants to uplift some of its activities and services rendered to those sections of people who have love and affection to such activities and Islamic services. The Jamia despite of its poor condition and many hindrances avoids the government donations if it is not unconditional. This Jamia maintains its freedom to discharge the duties. The Jamia schemes behind all spiritual control exercise seems to be for a sublime objectives of enabling the students to cope with the materialistic hurdles that come in the way of great ideals for which, the human beings have been created in this world. This Jamia provides the students an opportunity to assess themselves whether they are fit enough to bear the message of the Divine Book and whether they are able to carry out its message to those who are unable to receive it so far. This Jamia teaches education of Wahi, the Quran, is the basis of our faith. It is the last guidance to humanity through the last Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and Allah. As our responsibility as Muslim is to spread the teaching of Wahi and Quran in an effective way. It may be mentioned here that Darul Uloom Deoband was established by our predecessors when the garden of the Islamic Education of Shah Waliullah Muhadis-e-Dehlovi (Rh. was attacked by the enemy. This Jamia was also established at the same spirit getting inspiration from the establishment of the Darul Uloom Deoband. Today that Jamia has become not only a leading but also a largest, pure, holy and famous Islamic institution for giving Islamic education, training, real amal. It is a basic centre of Ilm Wahi from where thousands of Alim, numerous Muhaddis, Mufassir, Mufti, Faquih, Arabic Lierareur, Spiritual leader, Muttaqi and Preachers of Islam (Muballig) came out. They are playing important role to preserve and preach the Islam. This University has placed its position in the minds of the people of the home and abroad. This is a lightened High Miner of the Ilm, Amal, knowledge and Hickmah. From the Jamia light of the seeking of Ilm Wahi, deepness of the Ilm Deen, following of Sunnat-e-Rasul (Sm) Taqwa, non-allurement of the earth was spread over the worldwide. Unparalal Character and Ideals of the Sahaba-e-Keram reflected in the piety Services of the Jamia. The teaching and training of the Jamia has been playing important role in the field of calling of Deen and Tablig. This lights was spread to the remotest corners of the countries. Extra Curricular Activities of the Jamia (Arabic University) (1) Weekly debate on different languages. (2) Publications of monthly Wallpapers on Arabic and national language. (3) Symposium on the Islamic activities on contemporary topics. (4) Internal Competition during the periods of study and a big contest at the end of each academic year. (5) Translation of Islamic thoughts and literary articles. (6) Computer Training. Library of the Jamia University Library has a large stock of the valuable books of Islamic history, thoughts, tText Books of different levels, journals, magazines etc. in Arabic Urdu, Persian, Bengali and English languages. The approximate number of books in this library is about 22,000. Social Responsibilities of the Jamia Jamia takes responsibilities of different issues of society (Led by skilled and specialized persons of the institution) by serving accurate advice and legal opinions. Moreover, the aggregate of those issues are published as a book of \'Fatwa-E-Jamia\'. As an Islamic educational institutions, it has been projecting the various aspects of the Muslim life, culture, history and ideology with great devotion and commitment. Over the years, the Jamia has developed into a useful and authentic source of information on issues of concern to countrywide community, providing Muslim viewpoints to its students and wellwishers on the various aspects on Islam and Muslims developments taking place in today’s world. Scholarships for the Student of the Jamia The Jamia give free education to all students. It also lend them Text Books, and ensure their hostel facility on free of cost. Those Students who achieved excellent result in test are waived for the meal charge. Moreover, the orphans and poors are given facilities including free fooding and lodging. Buildings of the Jamia There are Six buildings in the Jamia. These buildings are being used for academic, office, hostel and Library purposes. Of them Three buildings are Five storied, One is Seven storied, another One is 4-storied and rest One is 2-storied. These buildings are not enough for the growing requirements of the Jamia. Accommodation for the Student of the Jamia All of the students are resident accommodated by the Madrasah Authority and they are always remain under special care and supervision of teachers. Teachers guide them spiritually, mentally and intellectually in all aspects, so that they become valuable asset for the nation and can serve with dedication. New projects of the Jamia (1) To construct hostel to meet growing demand of the students, as the existing buildings are not sufficient; (2) To arrange Housing facilities for the Teachers and Staffs within the campus of the Jamia, which will enhance the congenial environment of study for the students; (3) To construct academic building and a big hall;. (4) To establish an Offset Printing Press to print books and journals of the Jamia;. (5) To establish a Teachers & Staffs Training Centre; (7) To establish a Vocational Training Institute. Jamia Qurania Arabia, Lalbagh Dhaka, Bangladesh is one of the great, famous and leading institutes of Islamic higher educations which has been disseminating accurate ideology, pure monotheism and eternal mission to impede the heresy, abominable, clumsiness of Dark Age and also a missionary vision in Bangladesh. It was founded by renowned Islamic scholars in 1950. It has been engaged to serve Muslim nation by Islamic thoughts since its establishment. Beloved Muslim Brothers/sisters! There are two thousand students studying in different levels of education from primary to higher (Masters) level under the Departments of Quran, Hadith, Islamic Jurisprudence, Tafsir and Tajwid (Recitation of the Holy Quran) there is also an Institution of memorization of Holy Quran (Hifz) and a Kindergarten, all these Departments are guided by fifty five expert and experienced teachers. Jamia provides Fifteen Hundred orphans, poor and distressed students with food and accommodation. For which Jamie\'s yearly expenses are about ninteen millions taka which is equivalent to 2.77.000 (Two lac seventy seven) US$. Appeal Muslim Brothers/Sisters in Islam! Jamia has a number of development projects. Some of them are under implementation. The Jamia has no mentionable source of income. It depends on the help of Allah and the assistances of Sadaqat, Zakat, Lillah and others of Muslim donors from home and abroad. It does not take any help from the Government. Now the Jamia is facing a great financial problems to meet expenditure for foods and others essential commodities for its students. Dear Muslim Brothers/sisters!
